I like it
I like the show, it keeps you guessing what the stupid son is going to do wrong next , ok it may be full of holes, but, they had to make it interesting to keep you watching, if my son was such a wimpy, cry baby, like this kid i’d let him go to gaol, it may make a man out of him.

This is a series about dumb people. . .
The plot holes are unsurmountable. The acting is way over the top.

After two episodes, I have decided this is a show about dumb people.

A dumb judge who tells a police officer this car has been stolen, WHILE THE CAR IS ACTUALLY BEING STOLEN instead waiting for confirmation the car has been destroyed or is now sitting at the bottom of an obscure location in the Louisiana bayou.

There are cops who leave objects (clues) lying around in the middle of a street at a hit and run scene for others to arrive later to pick up.

There are detectives who can’t figure out in about two seconds that the car was stolen the day AFTER the hit and run.

The plot is Swiss cheese, Swiss cheese I tell ya!

This was based on the Israeli series, Kvodo. My guess the original is smarter than this remake dumbed down for American audiences.
