Whilst Vikings may be based as much on myth, as fact, its core understanding of the world they lived in, makes it inherently watchable.

Vikings were conquerors, traders, settlers, and politicians. All elements, that can be found blended in intricate and intriguing ways, in this series.

Its helped too be decent acting, direction, fantastic sets and rich visuals.

I do feel that said this series needs to come to an end soon as its really reached its potential and much more, will simply start to feel a little repetitive.

A great watch. 9/10.

Vikings is somewhat based on History, but either way, it’s an excellent show with awesome Characters & I love the Actors in it. The locations & sets are perfect, the action outstanding, even if you don’t like this kind of show, I would suggest it to anyone to give it a try. Once you get to know the people in it & get into the story, & it takes a few episodes, but once it gets rolling it’s an overall awesome experience.
10/10 Rating for me.

Ragnar Lothbrook
Seasons 1-3 and the 2nd half of season 4 are the best this show has to offer. But the rest is easily forgetful I do not remember a single scene that moved me or stuck with me. Ragnar was what made this show great. Vikings is brutal and has some very dark and complex moments. First 3 seasons 10/10 season 4 7/10. Spinoff would have been better for the sons. Ragnar deserved better and Michael Hirst didn’t execute.

I really liked this show!
This was another great “old world” tv series that i was hooked on. Because of GOT, i got into watching as i love these types of shows now.

Most of the acting was awesome… the scenes reminded you of GOT and the story line was changing each season with dynamic characters coming on to the scene and expanding. I do love shows with attractive people so if you are looking for eye candy, this show brings it!

I did appreciate not having so much “female nudity” as GOT. Its not necessary as shown but this great series.

If you want to watch another great series if you liked GOT, this is your next move. Sad when it ended as well.
