The Bonds Of Love
A couple decide to take a romantic trip to work on their relationship. They rent out a beautiful countryside home but it is obvious it will take more than scenery to heal their wounds. After meeting a local and having some cordial interactions with the man, things begin to get uncomfortable when the man begins to give off some creepy vibes. Will they make it?

Not an uncommon plot. This isn’t a film that I consider to be awful but it brings nothing new to this type of film. I thought the acting was ok but it was slow and it wasn’t as suspenseful as it could’ve been. It simply wasn’t very engaging.

Bottom line is that it’s been done before. It’s not great but I have seen worse. If you like films of this nature and considering it, it is an average watch.

As we would say in french : ” c’était pourri ! ” Bad Acting, scenario, dialogues, camera work … thanks to the Italian scenery though, the only pleasant thing in the whole movie.
