It is a must watch film.
Toilet ek prem katha- The best movie of 2017 on social issue. Akshay kumar was fantastic, his acting was powerful. Bhumi pednekar is best with her acting and also best suit in this role hope her best from her incoming films. Only the songs makes the film a little bit bore. Otherwise the film is best and watchable.

Great subject . Can not say the same about the movie.
First we need to applaud the whole team for making a movie on such a subject . But sadly , this movie will be remembered for only for that.

There are two themes in the movie ‘Toilet ‘ and ‘Ek Prem Katha’ while the later is dominant over the former. The problem with this movie is it’s love story. It is the same story which we have seen in 200 other films. A man stalks a much younger girl. She scolded him for that .Then the man gives a stupid speech in his defense. As always, the girl has to give up and agree. They get married. Now we know they have to fight for some reason(Toilet in this case) . What will he do to get her back ?

Movie is somewhere lacking the focus . Is it about love or about Condition of toilets in India? The makers should have watched Life is beautiful to learn how to maintain the balance between two subjects.

This movie is not terribly bad but not the masterpiece everyone claims it to be.
