Watch: Das Wetter in geschlossenen Räumen 2015 123movies, Full Movie Online – In a formerly French Arab, (civil) war-torn country (Syria?), hedonistic half-blood drifter Alec Khalil, son of German Catholic nun and an Arab refugee, lives a VIP-life in the luxury hotel of his much older, but rich single socialite lover Dorothea Nagel. As hired UNHCR PR agent, she participates I the decadent opulence of diplomats and business people to raise charity benefit funds for humanitarian programs, in this case a project to grant refugee girls European scholarships, although no suitable candidate is available. Their wild parties, also in the UN-funded hotel suite, arouse nuisance complaints, damage claims and the due suspicion of her by the book UNHC-supervisor, especially as the unqualified media-flaunted ‘first scholar’ went missing on a Paris airport. Alec accepts for her sake to help out a generous ambassador’s son Ralph with his dodgy refugee job-prepping project, proudly determined to chip in, and surprises everyone after the benefit gala’s star singer falls trough with throat-ache and his party animal friend reneges on a promise to enter the project..
Plot: A luxury hotel in a conflict zone. Development aid worker Dorothea begins an affair with a young drifter, Alec, but what starts as sweet distraction brings her dangerously close to losing control.

A personal drama
“Das Wetter in geschlossenen Räumen” tells the story of a woman, working for help organizations but really just leading a life of parties, men and luxury. When things start to slip out of her hands, a co-worker is sent to overlook her strange behaviour.

What the film delivers is mostly the portrayal of a lost woman, who keeps the image of the selfless helper alive only to make personal profit out of it. In a way this could also be seen as a critic reflection upon society but I’m not sure if that wasn’t a bit over-interpreted. However the producers managed nicely to interwove the three main characters and create a personal drama without many locations or big special effects.

All in all this is surely not a masterpiece but it has an original idea and reflects upon a topic that many would like to avoid. If you’re into character development and drama, this could be a thing for you.
