So much talent for such low budget trash….
Directed by first time director L.P. Brown III, I’m not surprised this is only film he directed because it’s obvious he has no talent when it comes to film making. I’m assuming the better shots in this film were directed by “ghost” director John Sjogren who has brought such movies as The Waterfront, No Rest for the Wicked, Flat Out, Choke, & other low budget trash mainly starring Joe Estevez. Most of the films above are not exactly great movies but they are alright for being b-movies especially Choke which I actually enjoyed more than I should. L.P. Brown III also wrote & starred in this movie which is shame because he failed on both parts. The worst thing about this is he’s the main star of the film not a supporting actor like many others listed above that also have so much more talent than Mr. Brown. The best thing about this production is it’s supporting cast which is surprising very impressive for it’s budget with such actors as: Michael Madsen (Sin City, Tilt, Kill Bill, Donnie Brasco, Mulholland Falls, Wyatt Earp, The Getaway, Reservoir Dogs, Thelma & Louise, The Doors, and many more), Brion James (Southern Comfort, Blade Runner, 48 Hrs., Crimewave, House III, Tango & Cash, Another 48 Hrs., The Player, Nemesis, & The Fifth Element), Charles Napier (Supervixens, The Blues Brothers, Rambo Part II, Outlaws, Night Stalker, Miami Blues, Maniac Cop 2, The Grifters, Silence of the Lambs, Felony, & The Critic), Martin Kove (Last House on the Left, Death Race 2000, Rambo II, Karate Kid Trilogy, & Wyatt Earp), Robert Z’Dar (Maniac Cop Trilogy, Night Stalker, Tango & Cash, Mobsters, & Beastmaster 2), Roxana Zal (Table for Five, 3-Way, Big City Blues, Firestorm, Testament, & River’s Edge) with small cameos from Todd Bridges & Corey Feldman. Besides the decent cast I just named it has great nudity & few decent shoot out scenes but besides that it’s amateur/very cheap looking with a clichéd script. It’s not the worst movie I’ve seen but it doesn’t come close to being even being good. It has no replay value but it’s worth checking out once….
