Plot: In 2012, Atsuya and his 2 childhood friends do something bad and run into an old general store. They decide to stay there until the morning. Late into the night, Atsuya sees a letter in the mailbox. The letter is addressed to the Namiya General Store and the letter was written by someone to consult about worries. Incredibly, the letter was written 32 years ago. The mailbox is somehow connected to the year 1980. Atsuya and his friends decide to write a reply and place their letter in the mailbox.

Good Enough
From Namiya Zakkaten no Kiseki I liked the first and the last part.

The begining was nice, as the story started growing and the movie presented the odd parallel world that was connecting the past with the present through the letters. Midway though, the movie got a bit boring for me. It picked up a lot after a while, however, with strong dramatic scenes and just great performances. The small letter cases were nice as well, although I found myself confused by the main one at times.

So, for the performances and the world built up, six and a half out of ten.

Heart touching
Caught me off guard because I didn’t expect it would make me cry several times. The acting is touching. The concept is touching too. I appreciate and believe in human kindness more after watching this movie.
