Watch: The Lair of the White Worm 1988 123movies, Full Movie Online – Scottish archaeologist Angus Flint discovers an odd skull amid the ruins of a convent that he is excavating. Shortly thereafter, Lady Sylvia Marsh returns to Temple House, a nearby mansion, far earlier than expected. At a party in the village, Angus meets Lord James D’Ampton, who has just inherited his family’s land right next to Temple House. Angus learns of the D’Ampton Worm, a huge dragon-snake that an earlier D’Ampton killed by cutting it in half. (A catchy rock-folk song that tells the D’Ampton Worm legend.) As people begin acting strangely and disappearing over the next few days, the skull is stolen from Angus’s room, and a missing person’s watch is found in a cavern that was the legendary home of the D’Ampton worm. Angus and James discover that an ancient cult worshiped the worm as a god, and they theorize that the creature somehow survived its destruction, but was trapped inside the cavern. The rest of the film shows Angus, James, and Mary Trent attempting to stop Lady Marsh from freeing the creature…
Plot: In a remote corner of England’s Peak District, a mysterious skull is unearthed. But even weirder is that Lady Sylvia steals the skull for use in worshiping – very erotically – her pagan god, The White Worm, who hungers for the taste of virginal flesh.

Amanda Donohoe is splendid
This is silly and not particularly well made, presumably due to budgetary restraints, but it is good fun. Bit slower to get going than I remember on video but some more explicit imagery also than I remember. Everyone seems to have had fun in the making and if the dialogue is a bit hit and miss there is some really nice stuff. I don’t think this really fits, as some have suggested, into the , so bad it’s good category, but I guess it’s headed in that direction. Amanda Donohoe is splendid and Hugh Grant acceptable as ever. Special effects, like the dialogue are not always ‘special’ but there are great moments and it’s always good looking, particularly Amanda Donohoe!
