Watch: The Incredible Burt Wonderstone 2013 123movies, Full Movie Online – Superstar magicians Burt Wonderstone (Steve Carell) and Anton Marvelton (Steve Buscemi) have ruled the Las Vegas Strip for years, raking in millions with illusions as big as Burt’s growing ego. Facing cutthroat competition from guerrilla street magician Steve Gray (Jim Carrey), whose cult following surges with each outrageous stunt, even their show is starting to look stale. But there’s still a chance Burt and Anton can save the act – both onstage and off – if only Burt can get back in touch with what made him love magic in the first place..
Plot: After breaking up with his longtime stage partner, a famous but jaded Vegas magician fights for relevance when a new, “hip” street magician appears on the scene.

_**Amusing flick about magicians with Steve Carell, Jim Carrey and Olivia Wilde**_Burt Wonderstone (Steve Carell) achieves his dream of being a successful magician, performing before sold-out crowds in Las Vegas with his partner (Steve Buscemi). But fame & fortune has blinded him and he’s lost the love of the art, even his love for best friends. When a new edgy magician enters the scene (Jim Carrey), it gives Burt a wake-up call and forces him to reexamine his life & career and rediscover his love for magic. Olivia Wilde is on hand as a magician’s assistant while Alan Arkin plays an older magician.
“The Incredible Burt Wonderstone” (2013) didn’t do well at the box office, maybe because of the lousy title. Yet it’s a solid comedy/drama about magicians, traditional ones and edgier modern ones (which some argue don’t perform “true magic”). Olivia looks great and I wish her role was bigger. Gillian Jacobs (Miranda) and Tate Hanyok (Nicole) are also featured on the feminine front. Even David Copperfield shows up.
The biggest laugh is wisely saved for last.
The film runs 1 hour, 40 minutes and was shot in Los Angeles and Las Vegas.
GRADE: B
My ten word review:_It’s like Blades of Glory but with magicians. Fun stuff!_

Other REVIEWERS have lost their innocent sense of Humour
The problem with most reviews today is that people have lost their innocence and playfulness the world once new.The days when the family would go to the cinema together and buy popcorn and coke and it was a rare treat for all seem to have been replaced with an over critical and harsh assessment of anything!! The film itself deals with a similar subject when Burt Wonderstone loses his ability to realise that to somebody, even an old trick is a new one that can bring wonderment to even the oldest audience.
Lets stop and look at the film for what it is! Its not supposed to be a drama or intense film like The Green Mile. Its a innocent throw back to the era of stage magicians when rabbits from hats would trigger gasps of amazement by crossed legged kids watching in the front row.
The introduction of a ‘Criss Angelesque’ character was to show the shift in social attitudes in regards to what we consider entertainment is (and jim carrey does it hysterically).
Yes the story is not meant to be compared to anything of a serious nature but does have some underlying content that should make us think a little.
Today when films like ‘Kickass’ and ‘Jackass’ seem to warrant high ratings and are viewed by kids its sad to see such a fun, innocent and laughable film getting a bad rap.
In Australia at my cinema everyone was in hysterics (and this was a late session 1/4 full).
If you liked Jerry Lewis and can still laugh … you’ll love it if you enjoyed the fun of films like back to the future … you will love it If hearing a 13 year old girl in kickass say “Suck my &*#$” was funny to you… then you missed the boat on what funny really is.
Take a chance be amazed and let yourself laugh like no one is around… let it out and let the joy of “Burt WOnderstone” lighten you heart for just a couple of hours.
A love song to magic and magicians
Many Hollywood types have a deep embarrassing secret– they love magic.Harry Anderson, Steve Martin, Woody Allan and so many more are members of the magic fraternity. (Here’s a quick list of just some you might not know http://www.magictricks.com/celebrity-magicians.html)
Its not surprising, therefor, that periodically we get a movie that is really written and intended for the magic community. This movie is definitely one of them. Faithful in its depiction of magic and magicians, both the good and the bad, it is a delightful, funny and touching story about how we can lose our purpose in life and, if we are lucky enough, find it again.
A particular treat is Jim Carey doing a wonderful satire of Chris Angel, a man who is controversial in magic circles, to say the least. The casting of Carey borders on brilliant as he is one of the few comedians I can think of who can out over-the-top Angel.
This movie may not play to your tastes if you’re not interested in the world of magicians. But if you are, it is an absolute delight.
