Let’s laugh?!
After watching the Dude’s interview with Idowym (Director/writer) many things fell into place.

And the atmosphere Of Soviet Jurmala 1984 and posters (Space Odyssey 2001) in the room of the son of the protagonist, and the allusion to Rome in the bath/sauna of the one who died of a heart attack when joked about his wife. and about the story/joke like “damn sawing the wing of the plane” in retroshare with the beach in the beginning of the film.
