Definitely Not as Good as The First
My rating for the first: 7/10. This one I’d give 5.5/10 if I could.

Without going into the plot I feel like they tried too hard to get into character development while utilizing newer technologies. Neither of which help the story, actually making it worse.

I agree with others that it’s not as scary, however, I still like it a bit because it’s the same actors. That said I couldn’t, in good standing, recommend it to someone else.

Terrible
I really liked the first one but this one is crap in comparison.

No scares, AT ALL, unless maybe you are 10, home alone with it storming outside and all the lights out, even then I doubt it.
