This is the kind of passion that should be in every film
Films today walk a very thin line on being pretentious or original. Films made by younger filmmakers are usually on the bad side of this. This film is on the good side. It tells the story of a boy named Jeffery who wants to just finish his science project, but various obstacles are stopping him. The thing that is really shown throughout the film is the passion and the confidence of a true-born filmmaker who clearly loves movies. From the witty satire, to the true horror aspects that made great horror films like “A Nightmare On Elm Street” and “It follows,” this film is both hilarious and controversial. So just sit back and enjoy “The Ballad Of Jeffrey”

Well, not very good at all.
It’s a pretty bad movie, even if it is supposed to be bad intentionally. The conversations that take place are very unrealistic. The two main actors need to speak normally and not so robotic. They even walk and move around in a very strange manner. I thought that it was done on purpose but then the bully seemed to be lacking the same robotic qualities.

I don’t understand most of the other reviews, there wasn’t really any funny parts. Unless the stupidity of Jeffrey was supposed to be funny, it was more ridiculous. The best part was the very beginning when the one guy was just sitting at his desk not saying anything.

The cop part was horrible.

I know everyone is just lying to save these kids feelings from getting hurt about the movie, but lets be realistic here. They need real reviews if they want to improve and do better next time.
