Put The A-List on your “Must Watch List!”
The A-List captures the spirit of a “feel good” high school experience. The actors in this movie understand their characters and pull the viewer into the story. Hudson Thames (from the underrated Malibu Country) shines as the lead Eric Schultz. Elizabeth Bond is adorable as the quirky guidance counselor, Sylvia Martin. The character of Hannah Ford is portrayed with skill and finesse by the beautiful and talented Skyler Vallo (True Blood). It is pure entertainment to watch them weave a web of outrageous teenage angst.

Certainly, the director and writer pursued the production of this movie with passion. Hopefully if won’t be overlooked and find the audience and following it deserves. The A-List is a “Disneyesque” style movie that hits the “quality” mark.

Watch this treasure in the making! You won’t be sorry.

So bad it hurts
And crazy offensive. Harks back to 80s teen movie logic where we’re meant to support the nerds no matter how awful their behaviour. One teen nobody sexually harasses a cheerleader in a super creepy fashion, causing her to injure herself, but the happy ending is (spoiler) that the cool guy helps him get the girl in the end. Yay?? The nerdy guidance counsellor is insane. Criminally insane, and abusive to the lead character. I thought she was the villain of the story, and quite effectively chilling, until I realised with slow horror that the movie intended us to empathise with her! Why?! Because she wasn’t cool in school so she deserves something? She had zero social skills back in high school and now as a full grown adult still has zero social skills. How did she become a guidance counsellor? She’s super deceptive so I’m sure there was some manipulation involved. A terrible light teen movie, but a deeply disturbing psychological thriller.
