Watch: Stargate: Continuum 2008 123movies, Full Movie Online – When the Stargate team goes to see Ba’al, the last of the System Lords, being extracted from his host. All of a sudden, Tealc, Vala and all of their allies start to vanish. Later Carter, Daniel, and Mitchell try to escape through the Stargate but find themselves not on earth but on a ship trapped beneath the polar ice cap. They learn they are on the freighter that was delivering the Stargate found in Egypt in 1939 to America. The ship is about to sink and they evacuate. They are picked up by a submarine and brought to a Naval Base where they learn the SG project never happened. They try to warn the government that the Gouald might attack earth. But the government doesn’t believe and tells them that they’re being released and given new identities and not to talk to each other or about their previous alternate timeline . One year later, the Gouald attack and the government asks for their help..
Plot: Ba’al travels back in time and prevents the Stargate program from being started. SG-1 must somehow restore history.

Stargate: Continuum Has Plenty Of Action
The latest episode of Stargate involves SG-1 trying to prevent System Lord Ba’al from permanently changing history so he can conquer the Earth. Given a bigger budget for this made for DVD movie, this movie has quality production values and well done visual effects. Unlike many Stargate SG-1 episodes, there are no scenes set in the forests of British Columbia, as I recall.

Stargate: Continuum is almost all fast paced action. But the movie gives the audience what it wants, explosions, evil people and Earth in danger. Nothing wrong with that, unless you were expecting Shakespearean prose.

Much better!!
After watching the disappointing ‘The Ark of Truth’, I was very pleased they got back to basics with this movie.

Very interesting time travel story. Lots of time travel stories end with the big reset button at the end, it was nice to see some thought put into this one and see the characters have to work to set things right.

Fitting end to Stargate SG-1. Great action, some very nice character moments and it was nice to see the “whole” gang represented.

The most important line in this movie, that sets this story apart from so many other time-travel movies is from the retired GEN Landry:

“But you don’t have the right! If you were to succeed, events in the lives of thousands, if not millions of people, would never have happened! (angry) My goodness,people! The arrogance of what you’re asking us to help you do is mind-boggling!”

Just when you think he’ll come in and let SG-1 “fix” everything, he shows up – believe’s them and stops them dead in their tracks.

Then we see them foil Ball’s plan, despite the efforts of the ever devious Quetesh.

This movie depicts the very essence of Stargate SG-1.

9 out of 10 for me.
