This short feature shows in a very simple way the pure Chinese state of mind in a country where individual doesn’t exist, only the state or more simple, the community. In France, for instance, an athlete suffering pain during training, would be advised from his coach to relax, take a break, visit a doctor….Here, hell non, he must suffer more and more, only the results count, for the regime’s showcase, no matter the suffering, no matter the athlete’s health afterwards. Ruthlessness, Chinese ruthlessness. The directing is awesome
