Cool french Western about the spirit of freedom.
It’s good to see that France still has plenty to offer on the topics of Love, Lust, Betrayal and Horrific Tragedy… However, this is also a great Western about women liberating themselves from the constraints of American patriarchal society in the 19th century – including corsets.

So we also have an emancipation and empowerment theme in this very fine feminine film about freedom – which is a good thing, I think. Because French women should be free, I think – like the Mustang in the Wild West 🙂
