This is indeed horrible.
There’s only one reliable review out here… You know how these things work nowadays… Well, what can I say… All things beyond are my personal opinions. Let that be clear up front.

It’s bad. It’s all bad. Story is thin as can be. Acting is bad. The “atmosphere” is bad. Low budget isn’t an excuse for making bad movies. Often on the contrary. But in this case it just implies all the stuff mentioned before. I’m sorry, for me it was a total mess…

Solid Indie Horror
Watched tons of low budget horror films. Watched a lot of bad stuff… a lot. Sacrilege doesn’t fit that category. I dare say this one is that rare low budget indie movie you come across every so often. Acting is great. Liked the leads a lot. Very believable for the horror genre. The score and sound is really top notch. Story wise it starts out somewhat familiar, but by time you get to the second act it goes in unexpected places and becomes something else.

If I had any gripe, it would be the single location. I know its a haunted house movie but it would’ve been nice if the filmmakers opened it up just a tad more. So 8 out of 10, definitely worth checking out.
