They almost married each other in their twenties but Evelyn got cold feet. Later Evelyn married one of Jonathan’s divorced friends Thomas, and left her Catholic faith rather than wait for him to obtain an annulment. Jonathan had encouraged her many times to return to the faith during her marriage but she resisted. When Evelyn approaches Jonathan insisting they try to stop their children’s marriage, both Evelyn and Jonathan’s true feelings for each other emerge. Will Evelyn return to the faith and marry Jonathan, or remain estranged?.
Plot: Jonathan and Evelyn were lovers 30 years ago but have been estranged ever since because Evelyn left the church to marry one of Jonathan’s divorced friends and Jonathan has been trying to get her to return to her Catholic faith ever since. Now widowed, they’re forced to face their past when their children fall in love.

I am no Catholic but this is one for all faiths
A memoir of lifelong love, loss and redemption. Apart from the totally cheesy music LOL that in spite of being really cringey kinda fitted in with the personality of the story narrator this was really a moving and touching story.

Inspiring for all faiths and a call to root and ground your life in more than yourself. That there is a bigger purpose for being. That is a message of hope for people of all faiths and no faith.

Really like the cast and hope the message about the priest and his relationship to the families is a true story as it is fine.
