Professor Green is a likable enough rapper from London. From his appearances on Never mind the Buzzcocks he has a nice sense of humour as well.

His real name is Stephen Manderson and it involved a difficult childhood where he was raised by his grandmother in Hackney. His father was absent for much of his childhood as he had started another family.

Seven years ago his estranged father committed suicide. Some time earlier his dad’s brother had also killed himself. These events has had a profound effect on him which has meant he has needed therapy and even tackle the emotions he has experienced through his music.

This documentary tackles the subject of suicide among men under the age of 45 years of age a trend that has increased over the years. Manderson takes a personal journey delving into the possible causes of why his father committed suicide, something that came out as a bolt from the blue.
