Watch: Mojave 2015 123movies, Full Movie Online – A famous Hollywood director is feeling dissatisfied with his life, the issues in it including the disintegration of his marriage which will probably end with an expensive divorce and loss of custody of his young daughter. To get away from his life if only for a short period, he drives into the Mojave Desert. The getaway doesn’t turn out the way he expects, the major turning point being when a sociopathic drifter stumbles into his camp. That encounter ends up with both men seemingly wanting to kill the other. What the director is unaware of is that the drifter, who didn’t know who he was during their encounter, ends up finding out who he is and about his life, which makes him an easier target once the director returns to Los Angeles. The drifter seemingly wants to torture the director by threats of harm against the director’s friends, associates and/or loved ones, including his current girlfriend, a French actress, regardless of if the threats are real or just used as that psychological torture. Their game of cat and mouse takes a further twist when an innocent third party is accidentally killed, each man who wants to frame the other in that death. Ultimately, each man sees a poetic ending to their standoff, the only difference in their views being who will be the one left standing at the end..
Plot: A suicidal artist goes into the desert, where he finds his doppelgänger, a homicidal drifter.

Not Great,but….
In no way is this a great movie, but it kept me engaged to the end. Would I watch it again? Absolutely not, but it did have a few redeeming qualities. Specifically: 1) First and foremost, I thought Oscar Isaac was excellent in it. He is clearly the star of the movie and had all of the best lines (Not that there were many of them). 2) There was a bit of suspense in the cat and mouse game between Hedlund and Isaac. 3) I wanted to know how it would turn out and the ending was slightly different than what I expected. The cons: 1) Hedlund’s character is a real jerk and you can’t stand him. Almost made me root for Isaac’s character. 2) You never really understand why Hedlund’s character is so unhappy and such a jerk. 3) The pace moves very slowly at times. 4) Nothing particularly innovative or creative about the script.
Very intriguing thriller
This is one of those rare movies where the scenes are cleverly written and mean something, not just space filler. It does not waste your time and I really appreciate that. The two lead actors are each very good and perfectly cast for their characters. You frequently ask yourself, how would I react, how would I respond, am I like that and other questions. It’s rare to see complex, unsettling, destructive high intelligence portrayed well on the screen. It felt exciting to watch.
