Get to the point Marlowe!
I was fairly excited for this movie, beeing able to watch it in the presence of Diane Kruger and Liam Neeson.

The movie was a disappointment. Many people walked out on it. The dialoge was flat (as were the characters) tideous, boring and way too often: repetative! Marlowe tortured my nerves with his over and overstating. Also, some lines were so extremly cheap I could only cringe. And a movie like this is usually driven by dialogue.

The only good acting was by Jessica Lange, the plot didn’t interest me, the photography was decent but nothing special.

Maybe I am just to unfamiliar with film-noir and couldn’t appreciate it because of that. But I was not a fan.
