The Story of a Nazi Scientist Creating Female Vampires
This film begins with a young woman (played by Amy Savannah) wandering aimlessly in the woods at night. She happens to see a large house not too far away and is invited inside only to realize that the occupant is someone aligned with a group she has been desperately running away from. The scene then essentially backtracks to that same young woman arguing with her boyfriend (played by Victor Medina) about her wanting to go to a party with some people he doesn’t like. Disregarding his reasonable concerns, she eventually goes resulting in her being kidnapped by a group of vampires led by a former Nazi scientist known simply as “Gunter” (Dave Nilson). As it so happens, while experimenting on live human subjects during World War 2, Gunter has come across a formula which gives eternal life to human beings. The problems with his research, however, is that it only works on females and in the process turns them into vampires. Now rather than reveal any more I will just say that this film had some definite possibilities but the low-budget aspects of the production severely limited the overall effect. Likewise, the director (Matt Johnson) didn’t help matters by neglecting basic character development either. For example, other than Gunter none of the other characters even had names! That being said, even though this movie certainly had some potential, I don’t consider the final product to be remotely as good as it could have been and I have rated it accordingly.
