Too slapstick for me
This movie is not original, but there are a few nice little twists. The’s a good mix of ages and characters – some are kinder than they originally seem. I appreciate this was filmed in the pandemic, so things were limited, but I’d have liked more wider location shots showing the port etc rather than predominantly just the boat deck – felt a bit claustrophobic. Unfortunately, I don’t enjoy slapstick, so I gave up watching after two water incidents and the threat of a paint fight. These Reel One movies are generally ok, and all-age-friendly – the priority for my household – but some don’t quite have the classic Hallmark quality.
