Excellent First film
I loved watching this action packed film. It was reminiscent of films I grew up with as a child. The story line was committed to loyalty and values that make us better humans. The animation was good over all, but could have been better. It did not detract from the overall film because you so quickly get into the story. I hope you give it a chance, sit back and enjoy the adventure. It’s worth every moment spent as the characters with their powerful voices give credibility to the story. The actors who lent themselves to the power of the film make it so real to watch you forget that it’s animated. The hero takes responsibility for his actions and you become his fan. He is a great example of a true leader.
Kaptarawesome!
Wow what a film…an epic, intelligent drama and fantasy/adventure that *demands* a sequel, and a prequel!! The graphics are so detailed (love the eye makeup of the female characters), the voices are beyond excellent, and the music and the sound are so perfect for the story. There is also a touch of humor and levity which only adds to the awesome edge-of-your-seat drama. I also was amazed by the incredibly moving opening sequence and artwork. The horror scenes are delightfully shocking and graphic and they rival those of Japanese Animes. Animated films like this, for an older audience, are the best!! “Atlantis: The Last Days of Kaptara” needs to be released in all theaters!
