TRULY SCARY
June 9 surprised me with its real-life take on a really haunted place in Ohio. I’ve read about Helltown a million times on the web, and couldn’t believe I found a movie about this wild area. All of what I saw online in real photos is in the movie. The upside down crosses at the church were nuts. How does that still exist in 2022? And I just read about the cleanup of the Krejci Dump so that really happened too. It’s like the area was poisoned by weird chemicals or something and the government knew this was no good. Once word got out, they had to close the town. Anyhow, all of that true history mixed with this freaky stuff and you get June 9. I know people still go exploring that area and people are still getting lost and never found like in all national parks. If you are a horror fan, check this movie out.
