This film gives viewers incite to the dedication and passion that it takes to be a successful dancer and deliver meaningful pieces of dance art on the silver platter called “the stage”. The teachers and dancers display of commitment to their craft is unbelievable. “I Dream of Dance” is truly inspiring! Well done!!!

I saw the movie at its premier in Norfolk, crying and laughing.
I attended the movie’s premier in Norfolk on Sunday night. Some people were crying and laughing a minute later. I am more of a reserved guy, but even I had a tear or two in my eyes. I admire people that have so much passion and dedication, for beauty, dance, theatre and the performing arts especially. Unlike many other arts, once a dance is over it’s gone, no one else will see it, even if performed once again it will be different next time. A genius painting at least has a chance of surviving for some years, a genius dance performance is doomed from the beginning by the very art form itself.
