Some kind of French Parasites
Of course this little French feature was in production in the same time of Korean’s PARASITES, so I don’t even think it was inspired from the Asian film. But the two movies have something in common, concerning some kind of home invading, though not in the usual straight way. It seems inspired from actual events,for the first part. And I think this kind of unbelievable scheme may happen from time to time. Incredible is the word. The movies changes of pace after the second third, to become an action horror thriller, but unfortunately with a totally f…up ending. In the pure Hollywood tradition, which is not a compliment.

Nothing new, but dressed as art
I hated this film. It just goes from A to B without any surprise or detour, on a road much better walked by other filmmakers. The film’s premise is absurd, gratuitous, the “bad boys” are a travesty, and what the merde was that gross, needless, ridiculous scene in the end? Was that a way of showing us he was tough now? What is this, a porn Leslie Nielsen film? No, this movie doesn’t know what is wants and leaves you disappointed, cheated, and swearing you’ll never watch a film starring that boring and bored main actor again.
