Cold War Classic
Sequel to the Ipcress File, one of the few times a sequel is either equal to the first or better, it is similar to ‘The Spy Who Came in From The Cold’ but with more style.

Caine does his usual (at that time) brilliant job as the star, and has good support, particularly from the German/German speaking actors, it was an excellent idea to not use more brits or americans in these German roles ( I still shudder at seeing John Wayne playing a mongol!), it adds depth, distinction and class, and makes it more realistic.

A very classy film, I’m glad they made one more.
