Watch: Eating Out 2004 123movies, Full Movie Online – When Caleb’s gay roommate Kyle reveals that quite a lot of straight woman bed with gay men (ostensibly to convert them), nice guy Caleb considers going gay to improve his unsatisfactory heterosexual sex life. He shortly thereafter falls for Gwen, whom he meets at a party, but she’s got her own sexual frustrations going. She’s only attracted to gay men while instantly dismissive of any straight guy approaching her, such as Caleb. Kyle quickly moves on the Caleb-is-gay campaign to benefit them, but his motives aren’t entirely altruistic. He longs for Marc, a desirable hottie who’s Gwen’s gay roommate. Unfortunately for Kyle, Marc only has eyes for Caleb. Kyle’s plan: Get Caleb to date Marc so it’ll bring Caleb closer to Gwen while putting himself (Kyle) in proximity with Marc (their true targets). But as Gwen starts putting the moves on her roommate’s new boyfriend, and as Kyle becomes increasingly jealous of Caleb’s time spent with Marc, and as Marc persists in laying the foundations for a long-term relationship with Caleb, it becomes a question of how long the deception can continue before something gives?.
Plot: After getting dumped by his slutty girlfriend, Caleb falls in love with Gwen. However, thanks to Caleb’s roommate, Gwen thinks he’s gay and sets him up with her roommate, Marc.

Predictable fun fluff
At a current tally of 12 reviewers on the 1 – 10 scale above, and with a score close to 9.5 on that scale, I had to come in and give my review, which would place it at a 5.I caught Eating Out at the London Lesbian Gay Film Festival 2004. The film was OK, it was pretty funny, but it’s definitely not up there with the “greatest gay films on the planet”. It’s predictable, a little offensive in its insular vision of young gay life (“oh, he is so totally hot!”) but overall it’s an enjoyable if slightly brainless movie to catch when you need to unwind or destress. The audience generally enjoyed the comedy of the film, and 90% of the audience seemed to be laughing in the right places.
I do tend to think a lot of the hoopla over this film comes from the two model-quality leads in Caleb and Marc. However, I think this movie has a modicum of opportunity as a successful small-scale commercial release.
I’d say it’s an OK movie, and Q. Allan Brocka may be one to watch, but I much preferred the infamous Legomen sketch of his, and I think that will be far more remembered than this.
Tired of Really Bad Gay Movies
Some writers are trying so hard to create good gay drama or for that matter good gay comedies…they simply don’t understand that there is a fine line between gay comedies and gay drama…most gay movies nowadays have nothing to do with real life…very few actually get a point across and deal more with real life… Eating Out is a terrible movie…the acting is pretty bad, the actors have no chemistry and all the performances seem forced and just out of sync…the plot is all over the place and is one of those movies that make the overused, ridiculous and dumb assumption that “anyone can go gay.”Crap like “Eating Out” should be banned…movies like this create an illusive yet really ridiculous scenarios that anyone and everyone can be gay for the sake of entertainment or whatever in the movie…And It Doesn’t Work…this movie goes down the line with “Eating Out” “Prom Queen” and “Touch of Pink” and “testosterone”—as all really Bad gay movies…i know there’s tons of good and bad str8 movies…but considering that movies with gay themes have less opportunities to go mainstream and on the big screen…at least writers should make an effort to make them better than the rest so they can stand out and More people can see them and not just gay people….oh and that other movie “Ski trip” about the black gay guys who well go on a ski trip…which they keep showing on logo channel…is a horrible movie (they were just begging for laughs in this movie…the flamboyant guys didn’t look gay at all and in one part some guy is eating his buggers…out of nowhere..so tasteless and stupid!) I just saw “Brother to Brother” and “The Mudge Boy” (although this one wasn’t so much about being gay)…as well as “Brokeback mountain” which were all great awesomely gay movies…they were real and easy to relate to! with all this talk about gay issues i think films with gay themes owe it to themselves to make their films both plausible, entertaining and ways to relate to a wide spectrum of people…
Sex is a wonderful thing with the opposite or same sex…but i am really tired of the gratuitous sex scenes in some of these gay movies…they are absurd and dumb…once again watching “eating out” made me wanna throw up! Queer as folk was a good series overall…but it was just too much gratuitous and senseless sex…it made it extremely difficult for me to watch as a gay man..can u imagine a str8 person? there was no reason for that whatsoever…and the fact that they had like 5 seasons and there wasn’t a single minority in the show with actual drama was just Appalling…considering that gay minorities in America deal with double the problems! that one show “Noah’s arc” in Logo was awful too…just really really bad!
