Watch: Dudes & Dragons 2015 123movies, Full Movie Online – An evil wizard, Lord Tensley, seeks the hand and heart of the beautiful princess, Lady Ennogard. When she refuses, he locks her away and releases a deadly dragon, which he controls, to terrorize the land. He vows that, until she accepts his love, his dragon will destroy all who dare display any sign of love throughout the kingdom. Desperate to end the tyranny, she sends an enchanted dragonfly with a mission to find a true “Dragon Warrior” who is fit to release her from her captor and stop the destruction of the dragon. Meanwhile a young warrior, Camilan, braves the attacks of the Dragon and plans to marry his true love, the elf princess Larec. But his parents refuse to give their blessing, as marrying outside of their race would forfeit the family birthright. His only hope is to find a wife for his estranged older brother Ramicus, a rogue bounty hunter. But convincing the wild-hearted Ramicus to settle down and secure the family’s inheritance seems a feat as impossible as any heroic quest. Camilan reunites with his brother with the hope that he will be able to soften his heart. His attempts are in vain until Lady Ennogard’s dragonfly reaches their camp and relays her call of distress. Enamored by her beauty and lured by the promise of wealth, Ramicus agrees to take on the heroic task. So Ramicus and his Orc sidekick Shokdor, and Camilan and his loyal squire Samton, set off on a journey to rescue Lady Ennogard and put an end to the dragon and the evil reign of the powerful Lord Tensley..
Plot: When the powerful wizard, Lord Tensley, is jilted by Princess Ennogard, he vows to rid the land of love. He commands his fire-breathing dragon to destroy any sign of affection seen throughout the kingdom. As the death toll rises, Camilan, a brave but arrogant warrior seeks to marry his true love despite the curse upon the land. In order to fulfill his destiny, he seeks the help of his estranged brother Ramicus, a bounty hunter with no desire to get involved. It takes an enchanted distress message and the promise of great reward from the beautiful Princess Ennogard, to lure Ramicus into the quest to defeat the wizard and his terrible beast.

Loved it!
Thoroughly enjoyed this film despite the cheap CGI, but after all, this is a low budget Kickstarter project–it struggled with funding and could be deemed successful by simply completing the project. The effects did fit the tone of the movie but it would be even better to see the film come back in a “new and improved” version thanks to an influx of cash. Sometimes the poor effects are a distraction–but for the most part they are adequate for propelling the story–and in some places they successfully play off the cheesy effects to comic relief. Most of the actors–certainly the main cast played their parts well, with special recognition to our “hero” and the villain (you will recognize them both). Special mention goes to the Ork who managed to express himself well under tons of makeup and prosthetics, and without speaking a word. Charmingly funny, the film lovingly lampoons the “Sword and Sorcery” genre–and as other reviewers have mentioned there are clear nods to “Star Wars”, “Princess Bride” and others. You’ll know ’em when you see ’em.
Overall, genuinely funny without resorting to crude humor, or swearing as humor, or even the usual T&A. I wouldn’t hesitate to let kids watch, but there’s plenty for the grown ups to enjoy (I would not categorize this as a kid’s movie, but there’s little to object to either). Probably due to editing choices, as usual in this kind of film, some bits work better than others, More time, more money probably would have helped.
The story is pretty straight forward, and loaded with recognizable tropes that serve to support and push forward the humor and the plot. While there is nothing totally original here, it is put together well enough and is just original enough to keep it fresh rather than just a simple rehash or cliché. Yes there are flaws (some of the dialogue could have been tweaked), as you’ll find with all very low budget films, but it is well put together for the money, and you can see the cast enjoyed themselves–while a few actors were a bit uneven, for the most part the acting was well above what you tend to see on this kind of budget–even when those bottom of the barrel budgets manage to lure in recognizable professionals.
Definitely recommended. Amusing, recognizable yet reasonably original– it should give you a satisfying escape.
I had to redo my review for a better review.
I do not typically like artsy fartsy pictures. Nor do I like poor cgi that is not the high grade special effects that we have become acustomed to with Star Trek, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, and other great films. Though, sometimes there are acceptable lower quality special effects that do not detract from a movie. Most of the good ones are an acceptable amatuerish special effects while others add to the movie. In this one the first effect that is not cgi is the orc’s language used in the movie. You only have some understanding of what he says by the replies of the other characters. This, in the end, falls into place with the special effects. Some say the effects are bad due to the ability to pick it out. But even the great movies can sometimes have cgi that can be picked out. The most notible is Peter Cushing and Carrie Fisher in Star Wars. As ok as it was it would have been better had they left the effects out of the movie. In that case, the CGI detracted from the end result. Here the effects add to it. It is a mystical or other worldly effect. Now, I have seen plenty of CGI that was so off, that you could not justify it as other worldly nor as a positive effect for the movie.
The acting was good enough to draw your attention to the actors and the plot than the background. The acting was the most natural I have seen in a long time. You could criticize it as too natural, or not acting, but for this movie it fits in. It brings a reality to it that the best fantasy movie does not have.
The only quesiton I have is why was James Marsters in this movie? He is a far better actor than any of the others. Though, he came across weak the first half of the movie. Finally, afer half way through you finally see him become the actor we expect. Once he falls into his persona his acting prowess brings the movie home. I was so convinced that this was how he talked and acted in real life due to the many roles that appeared this way that I was shocked to see videos of him in a natural setting that was completely different. This man should be far more famous than he is. Why he is not a super star is beyond me. Now, for the others.
The other actor that needs mentioning is not an actor. She is an actress, Shannon Engemann, she is an elegant older actress that brings sexuality to her scenes. She is attractive, feminine, and woman all the way in this movie. She also should be far more famous than she is. I hope she has far more successful roles in the future. She deserves the limelight.
Lastly, are the other actors. You can’t tell from here if they can do typical acting. What you can tell is that they bring a realism to the role that you do not see in formal production movies. Granted, you will see famous actors in roles where they do not seem to be acting and it brings a powerful presence to the film. But just imagine if you had an actor that does not seem to be acting and also brought a realism to the role. Then you would have a part that would be breathtaking. A part, that would blow you away. I hope something like this will never appear as a bad character. We have seen two of them in the past. Dirty Harry and Helter Skelter. It ruined those actors future for years before they could get over it.
The vehicle may not have been the best quality, but the story has been told a countless number of times and it is only fair that they get their shot. I wish them all the best of luck in their careers.
