Head in the clouds
I was interested to watch this because looking at pretty diamonds is fun. I enjoyed learning some history too. BUT, I found it very pretentious. Almost every person that did a spot in the film I found to be full of themselves in some way. I found myself rolling my eyes

Fast-forward is handy
I have an interest in history, advertising, art and design. I was ready to turn this off after about a minute…”celebrities” and socialites dropping f-bombs and talking about what they have and what they would love to have holds no interest for me, and is, in fact, a huge turn-off. I kept going, but the fast-forward button was used many times.

This film could have been half as long as it was if the focus had been solely on the company’s history up to present day. I did find that part interesting, especially the fact that Pantone 1837 is Tiffany blue. The art of some of the jewelry is beautiful, and I would have loved to have seen more time given to the designers and makers.

To be fair, the title does suggest we will have to endure commentary from the so-called “beautiful people”. It does not, however, mean I have to like it.

Unnecessary profanity so you may not want kids to watch.
