6/10 – still not the best, but a noteworthy upswing in the Chronicle Mysteries series

Poorly written
The story line is baseless because there is zero evidence against the defendant. In the real world, the woman would have been dismissed as a suspect and never have been arrested. Police investigations would have moved on. This blatant disregard for procedure and reality is what makes the story fall flat.

As lively though it was told, the flaw was that lack of foundation. It cracked and the film crumbled. The writers, and those that approved this script should be ashamed for their lack of insight and intellect……and sheer common sense!
