Fan made alternate universe.
For a fan film, it’s pretty good. As for can it be considered Canon? No. This story doesn’t sit well with the CP/Chucky story. It retells and reinvents the same characters we know and tells it in an alternate way. Killing off the voodoo man and Tiffany just doesn’t sit right as something that happens before Charles Lee Ray possesses the doll. Then instead of the Barkley family Chucky is just randomly found in the basement of a couples new home. Unfortunately the pretty one is killed off early and were stuck with the ugly boyfriend who plays a confusing role followed by an ending that could have been far better.

Overall, it’s OK for one viewing, but it’s not going to be praised like a few of the recent Friday the 13th fan made films that could be considered Canon if you want them to be. This movie just doesn’t hit the mark with the story it tells. It’s a shame tho, it is pretty well made.
