Poignant, humorous, and artistic.
This impressive short film is able to capture universal human mistakes and existentialist tension beautifully. Its intentionally measured pace, great actors, and pithy dialogue pulls at your emotions. Others have said it’s sad, but there’s something about it that feels hopeful and the ending couldn’t have been better. Loved it.
Wonderful cast and execution proving B&W ain’t dead!
At 87, I’ve seen my share of movies, great, good, bad, awful and what dreck! This was a work of love by all concerned and it came through–loved the cast and their effortless performances, right down to the one-liner dialogue deliverers and just those standing by. Well done; my wife and I wonder when we will see a film that takes its time, explores the dynamic relationships of life and works with spare but humane dialogue and situations. Thanks to all, from the stars to the gofers, et al. Bravo.
