Adapted from a play by Nova Scotian author Catherine Banks, Bone Cage is an impressive first feature from Halifax actor/filmmaker Taylor Olson that sensitively excavates the tragedy of how young people in rural communities, employed in the destruction of their environment, treat the people they love at the end of their shift.

Slow and boring
Unfortunately after watching this movie it turned out that this is very similar to some other films that I watched recently. The plot is just boring and full of meaningless actions, reason of displaying which is not apparent. The final scene is rather confusing and incomplete, so after the end you are left with some feeling of dissatisfaction.

Bone garbage
This movie was a huge waste of an 1 hour and 30 minutes. The idea behind the movie was great, although how the directors and producers approached this one was horrendous. The whole movie I thought I was watching some old family video tape. Do better.
