Educational and well made
For some that aren’t familiar with Black Power movements in the UK this documentary does a good job highlighting the complicated history and the people behind the movements. It also explores the relations and reactions by the UK state and the police force. It barely touches on why immigrants from Africa, the Caribbean and other commonwealth countries among others were invited to come to Britain after WW2 to help build the country. But it’s worth noting that many were forced to leave or denied their rights after settling (look for the Windrush scandal)
