Indifferent ghost story
BAYOU GHOST STORY is a very indifferent way to make a horror film, and it’s shame it’s so poor as the Louisiana setting is always an interesting one. What we get here is a predictable ghost story told via endless face-to-face camera interviews with a number of local interviewees. It’s shot in high definition and features some semi-decent performances, but the result is very boring with the talky technique a real barrier against viewer involvement.
