must-watch documentary
This is a wonderful, not too long, documentary about military dogs & their handlers. Very informative & heart-warming. Mike Dowling was the first dog handler for military dog “Rex” who was in the movie “Megan Leavey”. Mike wanted to adopt Rex when his service was over but other circumstances intervened. You get to feel the bond between the soldier and the dog. There is a real sense of teamwork which is necessary to make their missions work. The danger is always there in the background as well as upfront. Well-done & highly recommended!
