A good film for $10,000
All props to the people who made this film for a reported $10,000. The story is a little weak in parts and I wouldn’t call it exactly scary, but the overall presentation is engaging and the film held my interest throughout. There’s some decent acting by the leads, particularly Matthew J. Dennis as the guy whose caught up in ghostly machinations. He shares some good chemistry with Scott Baisden, who plays a local cop. The script is a little uneven, but features some occasional bouts of sharp and witty dialogue. The ending is moderately ant-climactic, but the film is still a fun ride.

Special note: pleased to see a film that isn’t entirely focused on kids in their early 20s.
