Time Warp!
If you miss the 70s then this is the stand up for you. The only thing missing was mother in law jokes. Or maybe they were in it, I couldn’t continue watching after a while. Byrne is probably one of those comics that vociferously defends comedy’s right to joke about anything, that is the mark of a really poor comic. If all you can do is offensive, gross out humour, you’re not funny. This is the Amy Schumer of male comedians.

Probably not for everyone’s taste.
First time i watch a stand-up comedy with Steve Byrne and overall it was a good experience. He clearly has a funny bone and can bring his jokes like a natural born comedian. I do get though that some people are a bit offended by his material, because let’s just be honest, sometimes it is a bit offensive. There is alot of stereotyping so people could be offended by that, but I see it as humor and not as deliberately attacking a certain group of people. I’ll admit he flirts with “borderline” jokes but I think you should be able to laugh with everything as long as you’re not targeting one specific person and try to hurt him/her deliberately. Steve Byrne’s show Champion will probably not be to everyone’s taste but for me it worked.
