…seems that the critics did not like it; however, is OK to watch it but somehow it s too long; the final cut could have been shorter without any problem to the plot. At some point someone can be down knees to the system; even more in a place like Tokyo; fired from a job, without too much possibilities to have a gal or a relationship; immersed in your own otaku world living a non reality to escape from all that and trying to survive meanwhile you see at your sides beautiful girls on and on…would be difficult for many; so I think that this movie tries to show a bit of that side. Firsts takes are pretty good, then there s too much flatness and at some point a bit boring, but the way to use the camera, the colors and that mix between what s reality and what s not let you pass those long minutes and wait for the final part. The end is good in my opinion, due to the reality is just that.
