The film was very slow paced, and the dialogue was very clumsy.
The film was very slow paced, and the dialogue was very clumsy. I felt the way the boy talked used words, and word structures that didn’t really fit his age, or social background. There wasn’t any emotional content to his speech, so the film was very flat in that regard. The best I can give this film is a 4 star review, which feels generous.

Held my attention
The acting was good even if the dialogue seemed a little clumsy at times. At other times it was quite believable and poignant. The cinematography was very good. I was looking for a little more of a climax to the story, but I did enjoy watching it and I would recommend it. I am very intrigued with movies I label COVID movies – small cast, filled during the pandemic, and a lot of outdoor scenes. I would highly rate this movie in that group.
