Not gonna say more but a worthy sequel and gives same or some might say more goosebumps than prequel but amazing work by jhon krasinski and new cinematography director etc .overall good cinematography, visuals etc was interesting. I enjoyed it and would love a sequel. Personal rating 8 .thank you.

A Quiet Place Part II ditches the tension and the stealth the first film was known for and introduces more monsters, more action, more characters, and more of a world that’s barely hanging on by a thread.

Lee’s oldest kids become the key players here, with Emily Blunt’s Evelyn Abbott taking a backseat, while Murphy proves why he’s one of the most underrated actors working today.

Overall, A Quiet Place Part II is an exceptionally entertaining sequel with quality performances and a primary focus on monster mayhem which, as horror and suspense fans, we should all get behind.

More of the same, but still a well constructed action-horror film
The good: The film in of itself, is well made – everything from cinematography to lighting, sound, action, pacing etc. Big props for that. And of course the acting from the leads (including the younger actors) is excellent. I also like the way the ‘passing of the torch’ is shot – clearly defined parallels are drawn that make it easy to see the directors vision.

The bad: Probably it’s biggest criticism is just how close it is to the 1st part. Whilst containing less of what made the first one special. This film is definitely more action – so it’s not a complete replica, but the story beats and plotting are basically the same – hide from aliens, get supplies, escape from or stop aliens, : rinse and repeat.

Should you watch it: If you like the first one, absolutely. It’s a well constructed film that moves at a quick pace (almost over too quickly). A solid horror action flick. Recommended.

Worst of the Year so far.
Let me count the ways.

Absolutely no plot.

I laughed through most of it, it was so bad.

(1) There was no script.

(2) The most stupid kids on the planet really worked hard at getting everyone killed.

(3)Everybody leaves safety zones. All the time.

(4) A record is played 24/7 (“Beyond the Sea”} to give listeners a clue as to where a safe island is. Seriously? They can’t just broadcast a location?

(5)No one tells anyone that the monsters are afraid of water.

(6) In a powerless world dock lights are blazing brightly.

(8) No one thinks to throw stuff at a distance away to distract the monsters.

(9)The ending was yet another whimper (of laughter) from me. I could go on for all the goofs and missteps throughout but enough.

Truly dreadful. And worst of all, not in the last bit scary. Please pay these people not to film a third.
