Could’ve been better
I grew up watching Hocus Pocus. It is one of my all time favorites. Half of the show had nothing to do with the movie. I don’t know what exactly they were going for or who they were trying to pander to. It was such a miss for me. For crying out loud, one of the hosts wasn’t even born when the movie came out. More nostalgia would’ve been nice. Like artists/actors from the era to perform/host. Or the band from the movie to play “I Put A Spell On You”. Also, the costume contest took up too much time. The winner of the contest was a lady dressed up as a spider … Personally, I hope they have a redo with the 40th.
