Lamest way to shoot a movie ever
Here’s a new “cheapest film ever” wheeze: THE ARC OF METHUL is told via a series of still images, each on screen for a few minutes at a time, typically consisting of a couple of actors in costume in front of a CGI generated background. Audio narration then plays out over the top of the images.

It’s an interesting way to make a movie, but the end result is a failure rather than a success because it’s just too boring. In the end it’s neither a movie nor an audio work, and less than either. The film itself has a relatively interesting storyline that mixes paranormal elements with film noir style, but in the end it feels more like a lame student project than anything “real”.
