Shot-on-video family possession antics
ALMA’S SECRET is a shot-on-video horror story that clocks in at just an hour in length. It’s mildly stylish but incredibly low key, telling the tale of a family possession in a really cheap way that means there’s no time for special effects or even incident of any kind. Overall I would describe it as a mood piece. The main actress is okay but the overall effect is boredom due to very little happening.
