The Well (a.k.a) Le Puits is the best Algerian movie i have seen so far. Except for (Les vacances de l’inspecteur Tahar) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0856282. But this one is different. It talks about something else. I felt it, liked it, it was a story about any mankind facing a death threat. I had a chance to be invited to the screening. Women and children (defenceless) of a village are surrounded by soldiers, because of a choice they didn’t make. They have to take the most difficult choice of their lives. Die thirsty or die shot by enemy guns. Worth a shot. Screenplay is good, picture great. Music is good and plot well executed. Go have some emotions with this one. I give it a 9 but feel free to go see it.
