Action choreography is decent
Not that you won’t have seen better, but you know if you don’t set the bar too high … also you shouldn’t expect anything much from the story. Characters are not more than they need to be and there are no real surprises awaiting you. Still anyone here for the action, will probably be more or less satisfied. That said, you could use your time with other (more worthy movies).

More HK cinema garbage
Basically, someone in HK wanted to make a movie using MMA as context. Unfortunately, they had no subject matter experts and could only rely on what they see on the internet. I can live with actors who aren’t actual martial artists, they would only need to be good actors. However, the acting is just as tragic. Jack and his “girlfriend” have the chemistry of a brother and sister. It’s like the guy that plays Jack saw a couple of Connor McGregor videos and based his character on just that. The “MMA” choreography is terrible, i.e. the do moves that NOBODY does! I haven’t seen such a production of posers in a while and this takes the cake. One of the things that make me laugh is that this is all for an Amateur level event. At times, the movie can’t figure itself out tonally – sometimes it’s gritty and edgy, then other times it’s a light hearted anime. At first, I found that the movie does a little better at appealing to Western audiences and can have good English dubbing if the tried, but then I realized you can’t watch much better films. If you want to watch good Asian MMA, watch Flashpoint with Donnie Yen. If you want to watch a proper movie about MMA, watch Warrior work Tom Hardy.
