Watch: The Hit List 2011 123movies, Full Movie Online – In Spokane, an elite government killer goes rogue on the day that engineer Allen Campbell loses a promotion and finds his best man with his wife. Allen goes drinking that night and chats up a stranger who turns out to be Jonas, the hit man. Jonas asks Allen to give him a list of five people he’d like to see dead, so a drunk Allen lists his boss, the guy who got the promotion, a nasty bookie, the best man, and his wife. By the next morning, the boss is dead, and Allen realizes Jonas is for real. Can he stop Jonas?.
Plot: A disgruntled man creates a hit list with a stranger during a drunken night out and must then race to try to save those he marked for extermination as the bodies begin to pile up and all fingers point to him.

A Different Hit Man Story
Allen (Campbell) doesn’t believe that Jonas (Gooding, Jr) is a hit man. So Jonas tells Allen to write 5-names on a list of those he wishes dead. He does this and soon realizes he made a very big mistake.

I don’t understand why Cuba Gooding Jr goes for these dark, really dark stories, but it’s been that way since he was in Jerry Maguire, A Few Good Men and Men of Honor. Now, some may ask why I seem to be attracted to these dark movies. Good point. I like Hit Man movies, but was not prepared for this one (who is?) and also, there is nothing else out there at this time. Also, the holidays put all my TV shows into re-runs and what’s a person to do?

But, Gooding is always excellent and yes, of Oscar caliber, but these dark movies won’t get him to any Oscar nomination, in my opinion. It is what it is and we have to deal with it (if we watch).

This turns into a thriller frenzy as Allen tries to stop Jonas from completing the list. Good action stunts and perhaps some CGI, but that was difficult to tell. The acting by all is very good, the story is certainly different, and you won’t be bored. Rating 6/10.

Violence: Yes. Sex: No, we see a make-out session that was supposed to lead to Sex, but……. Nudity: No. Language: Yes.

Really Cool, Unique Concept
I would have never thought I would see a movie like this. The whole dying hit man picking a random victim/protégée must have taken a lot of thought. I also was amazed that in the end of the story Allan finally kills Jonas. This doesn’t seem like something a hit man would do, they usually are in movies as being cold and heartless. In this movie, the directors break the stigma of the ruthless hit man and show that in his dying moments, as insane as he becomes, he want to teach someone a lesson, and end up helping them. Jonas basically reunites Allan with his wife, takes care of his debts, and shows him to not let people step on him. I thought it was intriguing that in the bar scene, Jonas was drinking water instead of alcohol, like I assumed someone would do if they learned they were dying. Jonas seemed like he took his denial of death out by breaking his murderous lifestyle, and trying to make a “friend” in Allan, as morphed as his meaning to that term was. This movie spawned many relatable quotes, and overall was 8/10.
