Watch: The Comebacks 2007 123movies, Full Movie Online – Lambeau Fields lives a middle-class lifestyle in America along with his wife, Barb, and a gorgeous daughter, Michelle, who he has brought up as a son. Lambeau is a failure and has virtually given up on his career as a football coach. Then his friend, Freddie Wiseman, encourages him to re-enter this field, and he does so by re-locating to Plainfolk in Texas and joins the Heartland State University. It is here he will meet some of the most pathetic players, and quite disillusioned he goes about to find new-comers. He finds a kicker in Jasminder Featherfoot, provided of course, he keeps her involvement secret from the rest of her family. Then he finds Lance Truman, whose drag queen dad has brought him up more like a tom-girl. With these additions and others Lambeau sets forth to include his team in the next Super…Er…Toilet Bowl 2 series, and it is here that he will find that Lance fumbles a lot; Barb is not quite faithful as she seems; he will soon be in jail for Indecent Exposure; Michelle has a black boyfriend; and Freddie has a hidden agenda..
Plot: A comedy that spoofs the inspirational sports movies, The Comebacks tells the story of an out-of-luck coach, Lambeau Fields, who takes a rag-tag bunch of college misfits and drives them towards the football championships. In the process, this life-long loser discovers that he is a winner after all by redeeming himself, saving his relationship with his family and friends, and finding that there is indeed, no “I” in “team”!

**Worthy:**Unlike the anal retentive clown shoe that reviewed this in February most likely from his moms basement, this movie is worthy of a view. If you like Naked Gun, Scary Movie, Not Another Teenage Movie, or any other kind of spoof then this is worth a watch.

2. David Koechner as Lambeau Fields? I’m in. He’s one of those underrated comedic actors of our time.
3. It has Stacey Keibler and Lawrence Taylor cameos. Enough said.

**How I Rated It:**It’s a solid 2.5, which 1) I’m a hard ass and 2) It’s an average rating. Doesn’t mean you shouldn’t watch it at least once to laugh at.

Horrible watch, won’t watch again, and do warn against watching.

As the best example of signs a movie is bad, I’ll mention some of my favorite things:

I’m happy to see the beautiful Noureen DeWulf, but still mad she wasn’t Jasmine.
Stacy Keibler makes a surprise appearance.
Melora Hardin look great in this.
Wishing Brooke Nevin was Ashley Benson made me think of better movies.

Honestly, Frank Caliendo was the funniest part of the movie, just by doing John Madden impersonations.

David Koechner and Carl Weathers added nothing to the movie, Shannon Woodward’s confused lesbian scene was honestly funnier than the rest of their performances put together.

MAYBE if you just LOVE parodies, AND MAYBE if you just love football, then this might be bearable to watch.

It just goes too far out of its way to try to make jokes that don’t land.

Not all bad
This movie is a nonsense/spoof comedy, in the lines of The Airplane or Naked Gun, but it doesn’t even come close to this two, because it lacks originality and a little more intelligent jokes, rather then just throwing you with the same old easy jokes.

You can figure out some references to other movies, from the top of my head I identified Dodgeball and Rocky, so you can have some fun with that, trying to find out what movies are spoofed.

The movie also offers you an occasional laugh, but nothing that can cause you injuries, thus nothing really funny.

I liked the character IPod in some ways (even though some of the jokes with him are standard comedy 101).

I think this movie (and like most of nonsense/spoof comedy) depends on the mood you are in, so if you think you will laugh to any joke watch this movie. If you are in a serious mood forget about this (re)watch The Airplane instead, it will definitely make you laugh

Jason Voorhees should have been the coach.
Sometimes, things should just not be made. And while the set-up seemed good enough, it proceeds to only make the audience gasp in horror. But the problem is, its not another Saw film. Its just so bad you wish you were receiving punishment from Jason Voorhees.

I lost track of how many sports movies and spoofs it incorporated into the film. And generally, it flopped in its attempts. True, telling his team they should fail every subject to be true players was somewhat funny at first, but that grew tiring to watch. That and the joke about “Radio” and “IPod”.

Overall, I can’t stand to watch this film again. Even Trantasia is worth more than this. “D-“
